SOMETHING ELSE

Daddy’s doing something else.
He’s not watching down on me.
I will see him one sweet day,
but for now he’s surrounded in peace.

Things of the earth are of no concern
to the daddy I once knew.
He is busy, engulfed in celestial song
and observing the heavenly view.

Our long lost loved ones
are not involved with problems in our lives
They know a higher place and time
where someday we’ll arrive.
