LARGER THAN LIFE

Some people don’t grow,
they just grow old,
with the same intents
and grounds.
Established truths,
givens that never
suggest
going out of bounds.
Some people don’t travel,
they lack the desire,
although they have
the means.
Some people appear
to be standing still.
But everyone
sleeps and dreams.
