Pigeon-toed.

Knowledgeable about
campfires,
knots,
canoeing,
and archery.

The way she
stretched a bow,
hit the target
dead center,
and made it
look so easy.

I didn’t want
to leave, but
I went home
and focused
on someone else
to be my hero.
