CRIES

I burst out crying in the shower tonight-
Missing Grandaddy who died years ago.
I never really grieved then.
College life and being in love
Smoothed the lump in my throat.
I was too alive to be concerned
With death.
When I stepped out of the shower,
I heard the train.
