TYPI CALL

I’m looking through
my address book.
Self centered crisis time.
Willing to foot
the long distance bill.
Just listen to me whine.
Been busy in recent weeks,
you know.
Not sure where I have been.
All of a sudden
the walls came down,
the blessed roof caved in.
You’re right there when
I need you most.
A storm pit in the storm.
Funny, I never think of you,
until my troubles are born.
