THE MIRROR

I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and was reminded
of that indefinable point between youth and maturity.
A certain stance or tilt of the head can cause a young face
to dissolve into an older, familiar appearance.
I saw my grandmother in my own reflection.
I have a lot to look forward to.
