OUT OF OUR ELEMENT
You're strangely out of your element.
So, who are you to me?
I know I know you, without a doubt.
My mind's playing tricks on me!
I think and I think and I'm sure I'd know
if I saw you surrounded by rooms
and people who possibly work with you.
Curiosity lingers and looms.
But here you are outside in the park,
or walking the halls of the mall.
We say, "hello, how are you today?"
Yet I've lost all total recall.
You might be thinking the very same thing.
You possibly wonder, "who's she?
I know that I know that I know but I'll think
'til I drive myself nuts as can be."
