MEDITATION GARDENS

Encinitas.
Pacific coast mist
delicately combines
with richly woven soil
to create colors for the
thankfulness of open hearts.

immaculate expanse
of intricate gifts
nurtured by human hands.
No interference of
undesirable growth.

Perfection in blue-green
grass.
Massive gold fish
skim in rhythmical patterns
against rushing liquid.

Voices are silenced.
Quiet feet traverse the sanctuary.
Respect and holiness brought forth
by an environment void of flaws.

We walk away, ever blessed
by flora, fauna and other life forces,
within a garden for meditation,
on the California coast.
