LONGING NOT TOO LONG

I wonder if
on the other side,
we’ll have the ability
to visit a time
in our life on earth
we’ve longed for
especially.
Of course,
when we get there
it’s probable,
we’ll forget about
worldly things.
Maybe the longing
will vanish, be gone.
I long for the peace
that will bring.
