LIBBY’S CATFISH AND DINER
Two minutes up the road
and seventy years back in time.
“The good old days” surround us.
Regulars order catfish and
fried green tomatoes.
Waitresses are known by name.
Pitchers of cool tea and water
are passed around by women
with deep southern accents.
Hushpuppies are a staple
at Libby’s diner.
And I imagine we are
at the Whistle Stop Cafe.
