Inane question.

Barren trees
like arrows,
point to the
galaxies.

Directions
reach stars that
no longer exists.
Invisible lines
followed by no one.

Vapid winter trees
criss cross
the day sky and
are punctuated
by limited leaves.

They fade into the
blackness of night
and imitate nothingness.

Do we no longer
exist?
Are we merely shadow
and light remaining
to guide celestial
ships?
