FOLEY

It’s peaceful here at the cabin in Foley, Alabama. A miniature version of our home in Priceville. We sit on the screened in porch and drink bourbon and listen to  sounds, different from home. Different birds, and a breeze known only to this area. Moss dips down from live  oak trees and almost reaches  our car as we enter a welcoming canopy. Eddie unloads the van and I put things away. Another  visit to the cabin for the fourth year. We remember the movie we were called to be a part of.  We were here when they said “we want you”!  And the adventure of a lifetime began.
