FARSIGHTEDNESS

I must be more than I think I am
there are those responsive to me.
the little on which I feel I am built
seems to them a lot more than I see.
I wonder and ponder, “How can it be,
am I made of more stuff than I thought?
Do outsiders know an inside of me
that maybe I haven’t sought?
