drivepoem.
WHOSE CONTROL?
I’m driving toward
the end of the block.
While turning a corner
I notice the clock.
The clicking sound,
my ring on the wheel.
Now deadly silent
time to kill.
Moving through
the pouring pain.
The lights ahead
are dimed by rain.
