Dream # 65,876 poem.

DREAM # 65, 876

In my dream, I saw a man
with long dark hair.
He lived in a house
of many rooms
lined up like black dominos.

Ebony rectangular boxes
with dots of white lights
from candles outlined in fear.
Accoutrements of confusion
filled the darkness.

A man, lost in his poetic emptiness
in a house overflowing
with articles of disorder.

The woman was drawn
into the bosom of
evil and evaporated
into a body of malevolence.

The poet’s hibernation and loneliness
created a deep bitter pain.
He grieved his loss
while darkness suspended
above and around him.

Until an entity manifest itself
within the walls of the
foreboding house.
A revolting living creature
approached with screams
and gnashing claws.

The poet slashed the demon
with his mighty sword.
His love stood before him
in radiant beauty.
Their embrace reached
the stars.

The house became bright and
lacking in confusion.
The sun shown through windows
and a breeze blew fear
from the candles.
