A DIFFERENT STRAIN
The weight of the world and gravity
And life’s enormous complexity
Seem focused on me deliberately
Causing a constant fatigue.
Exhausted from
Digging up memories,
Accepting such harsh realities
And lacking the healing ability
To take it all in stride.
I need a place I can hide
